Passed away peacefully at the Masonic Court Rest Home Palmerston North on Thursday the 2nd of October 2025 aged 97 Years.

Beloved Mother to Elisabeth and Cherished grandmother to Thomas and Phillip.

Deeply loved mother to Elisabeth (Eli) whose love, support, and companionship helped immeasurably. Thank you for being my mother, for your love and support, and everything you did for me.

Dearly loved grandmother to Thomas (Tom). Thank you for your love and care, and for helping raise me and my brother, supporting mum, and always being there for us.

"From Phillip (Phill), Mi querida abuelita, gracias por ser parte de mi vida, por los recuerdos, y por todo lo que enseñaste en la vida. Gracias por el amor, el chocolate en las mañanas, los dichos y los cuentos que me hicieron reir. Estoy feliz de que hayas sido mi abuelita y te quiero mucho, y siempre vas a estar conmigo hasta que nos volvamos a ver."

As per Rosana's wishes a private cremation has taken place.

    Rosanita will always be in our hearts and prayers. We remember her sweetness and kindness every time we came to visit her back in Colombia. With my parents we used to go to visit her and Elizabeth and spend many hours of laughing, love and good food. We'll cherish those wonderful memories in our hearts.
