My cousin 🥺 there was never a dull moment growing up with you. From the moment you came into our family, you were family. So grateful for your Mama who allowed us to be a part of your life & then you becoming such a big part of ours when she passed, it's always been love & it still is. I'll never forget all the memories we had especially at such a young age causing absolute ruckus down Morgan Cres. When we use to collect cicada shells & scare all the other kids with them. Playing ball over the road until somebody hit a car and we all got told to get inside hahaha. All the New Year's parties where we would sneak a sip of beer and we were "drunk" hahaha. All the times we would all go to Nan and Grandads for birthdays or whatever it may have been & playing in your tree hutt because you were the cool cousin because none of us had a tree hutt!! Smashing fizzy drink bottles on the road seeing if they'd explode 🤣🤣 I have so many fond memories growing up with you and I will forever treasure them. Seeing how supportive & encouraging you were to Nina & always having her back when it came to singing, you never knew this but you helped her in so many ways, especially her confidence. You were more than a cousin to us girls, you were like a little brother. You may not be here with us anymore, but you will always be a part of us. I hope you know just how deeply you were loved. Rest peacefully Mase, Until we meet again. I love you & I miss you more than words could ever say Forever 24 💛

As a family we have such wonderful memories of Mason. Over the past 6 days we have been thinking about Mason often trying to understand how this cruelty has happened again in your family. No words can help your pain. He was such a lovely, polite, respectful & kind boy with a great sense of humour. Mason had a gorgeous smile. He was always popular with all the kids at St Joes & Liam's birthday parties, even Maggie liked him lol & he had a special sense of humour. Mason was also very proud of Trish & Graeme & Lincoln & always spoke so warmly about them. I wish we could have seen more of Mason in recent times. I am also honoured that Mason was a big fan of my cooking & I would have loved to cook for him more often. Graeme & Trish you have always been such amazing, loving & selfless Grandparents to Mason, after losing your precious Natalie. Stu, Mason thought the world of you & he told us you were "Cool". I know Graeme & Trish are grateful for your support at this sad & unfair time. RIP Mason xxx

Some of my fondest childhood memories was from when we spent time together. Hanging out with nana Francis and poppa Murray. Going to the lantern festival and paddling nana around in the boats while lanterns floated gently past us. I remember the wonder in your eyes. I remember being slightly afraid to speak up and say how beautiful it was at risk of you thinking I was a sissy and thinking to myself "if Mason thinks this is cool, then I think it's cool", and you did think they were cool, so I thought they were cool also. You were that cooler older cousin. I remember making up conspiracy theories about hidden treasures with clues locked behind some made up meaning of some of the art work at nanas house. Thinking that if we could just crack the code and put the clues together that we could find treasure and be rich together. I remember when nana would salt the pool and we would get in and mix it up for her, and one time there was too much salt that both of our balls stinged so much that we had to have a 30 minute shower, we couldn't leave the couch the whole night from how sore it was. I remember looking into nanas fire place with you and Charlie and thinking we could control the fire with our hands, and really convincing ourselves that we could. I remember when you told me my hoodie that zipped all the way up to the top of the hood was cool, i returned home and wore that hoodie everywhere because "my cousin Mason said it was cool". I remember going mini golfing. I remember buying those dragonflies that would balance on our finger tips and choosing one each. I got a green one and you chose a white one. I remember playing air hockey with you, in nana and poppas garage, you would always win but you let me beat you a couple of times, especially when I started feeling defeated. I could always tell if you were letting me win because the score would be something like 5-0 then you'd slowly stop trying as hard when you saw me get upset and I'd end up winning by a couple points. I remember playing minecraft on my iPod touch with you and taking turns as we built things and died and respawned. We would never get upset at one another for loosing our stuff when we died in the game. I remember running around the fields with you and my sister Charlie. I remember going to lone star with you one time and getting the giggles with each other so bad that Charlie got annoyed at us to the point where she got told off hahaha. I remember you told me what parkour was and said that you did it often, I went back home and started watching parkour videos on YouTube, something I continued to be interested in many years later. I miss you, I've missed you ever since those years. I'm sorry I didn't try harder to help you. I did what I thought was enough at the time but looking back I could have tried harder. You always meant well, you always had a kind heart. I will always remember you like that. I will always remember those times. Those were good times. I've always missed you since bro. Love you mace, forever my cousin.
