29.03.1944 - 22.08.2025

Passed away peacefully at Waireka Care Home on Friday the 22nd of August 2025 aged 81 Years.

Much loved Mum and Mother-In-Law of Kathleen & Euan , Joanne & Rodney , Lynda & Kelvin , the late Elizabeth & Craig and Vincent & Joy.

Adored Grandma of Aidan , Ashley , the late Alyse , Georgia , Emma , Charlotte , Alayna , Ella , Aaron , Quinn & Olive.

" Of all the special gifts in life , To have you as our Mum and Grandma was the greatest gift of all "

A celebration of Mum's life will be held at St Brigids Catholic Church , Pahiatua on Wednesday 27th August 2025 at 2pm.

Followed by burial at Mangatainoka cemetery.

With much appreciation to all the staff at Waireka care home who have cared for Mum.

    Mum, you would have been incredibly proud of your Grandchildren and us kids with how beautiful your farewell was. It was bright and the sun was shining. Your flowers captivating the warmth and brightness of the day. Charlotte sung amazing tributes to you, just like you heard the day before and day of your passing. How special was that Mum. You were wrapped in love and will always be remembered with even more love. "You are my Sunshine my only Sunshine, You make me happy when skies are grey" Keep shining our Grandma Sun!     I remember all the times when we visited in Pahiatua when we were little. We had so much fun with you, John & our cousins. Same when you came to visit us. You were always so nice. Rest in peace Aunt Mary. My deepest condolences to my cousins & their families. May you find peace in the loving memories of Mary, a very special, lovely lady. Love from Angela Loveday & family xxx

    Aunty Mary, I remember all the times we visited you, Uncle John and all my cousins as our family had visits to Palmerston North and Pahiatua.. You were always kind and fun to be around, we had many happy times in my younger years and when we caught up again in Auckland in the later years. To my cousins and their families our sincere condolences for your loss. Aunty Mary may you Rest in Peace. Blessings John Davis and family

    Mary, you were a great sister-in-law. You will be sadly missed by your children, grandchildren and you many friends. You suffered much over many years but always had a smile.
